CARING FOR YOUR ATABEY PIECES
Every ATABEY piece is made or selected with its own materials and finishes. Always refer to the product description for the specific composition and care requirements of your piece.
To preserve your jewelry, we recommend keeping it away from perfumes, lotions, household chemicals, chlorine, and salt water. Remove your pieces before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping whenever possible.
After wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a clean, soft cloth and store each piece separately in a dry place to minimize scratching, moisture and unnecessary friction.
GOLD-PLATED PIECES
Gold plating is a surface finish and will naturally evolve with wear. Exposure to water, perspiration, chemicals and friction can accelerate this process.
Treat plated jewelry gently and avoid abrasive polishing products or cloths that may remove the gold layer.
STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver naturally develops tarnish over time. This is normal and can generally be removed with a soft polishing cloth intended for sterling silver.
Store silver pieces in a dry environment when they are not being worn.
SOLID GOLD
Solid gold pieces can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth and mild jewelry-safe cleaning methods. Pieces containing gemstones may require more specific care depending on the stone.
